Tasha Golden, PhD
is a public health researcher whose work is bolstered by her career in the arts. As frontwoman and songwriter for the critically-acclaimed band Ellery, Golden's songs have been heard in feature films and TV dramas, and her debut book of poems, Once You Had Hands, was a finalist for the 2016 Ohioana Book Award.
Now a researcher and innovator in Public Health, Golden develops interdisciplinary, creative partnerships and practices that address mental health, health communications, futures literacy, and critical research and education processes.
Golden also consults for organizations, initiatives, and communities to develop creative, research-based strategies that further their goals...
And she leads writing workshops for incarcerated teen women in OH and KY, who are among her greatest teachers.
